From 1998 to 2002, I was a full-time production editor on magazines published by Haymarket and Emap.

My job was to find every mistake, rewrite whole articles where necessary, and make sure the magazine went to press on time.

You may have some badly written text where heavy editing is required. Maybe you want someone to check for rogue apostrophes and lazy mistakes.

Or maybe your report is just boring, and needs jazzing up a bit.

Over the past year, I've made a tedious fundraising proposal more interesting for Tate Modern, edited lengthy reports for The Future Laboratory, and proofread YoungMinds magazine.

I've also worked on the Guardian's Global Development website, edited reports for WaterAid and the Community Transport Association, and sub-edited a Friends of the Earth magazine.
